Eliza Barr has been dancing for 21 years, many of the them spent here at New Hopewell Center for the Arts. She went to college at AMDA, The College and Conservatory of Performing Arts in both New York City and Los Angeles. She is a graduate of their Dance Theater Conservatory Program. While at school, she not only studied dance theater but also acting, singing, and stage combat. In 2013, Eliza was crowned Miss Berkeley County and went on to compete at Miss West Virginia Pageant and placed in the Top 12. She now helps pageant contestants with their opening choreography as well as their talents and pageant walks.

Some of Eliza’s latest adventures include acting Sherrie in the Apollo’s Rock of Ages and the Hungarian in the Apollo’s Chicago. She has also walked as a model in D.C. Fashion Week and still continues to model.
